I started that one without putting much thought into it and was just doing mostly straight & curved lines, but I think I'm going to move on to a new piece of fabric starting with the week 6 stitch and do something more visually interesting.

Eventually, when I have a pile of samplers on hopefully vaguely similar-sized pieces of fabric, I'm thinking of maybe trying to sew them together into a fabric book with a pretty design on the cover.Daisyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01396371121115945336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7879238690623093246.post-74824342666872718532013-06-22T18:53:54.085+01:002013-06-22T18:53:54.085+01:00These are so lovely! These are so lovely!Gertie Pyehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01265339570096603049noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7879238690623093246.post-41386389128375423052013-06-22T15:41:44.222+01:002013-06-22T15:41:44.222+01:00That looks like a gorgeous project, kits are perfe...That looks like a gorgeous project, kits are perfect for holidays if you ask me! :) nicole follow the white bunnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04576775837134259637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7879238690623093246.post-17249156325591920122013-06-22T15:38:10.431+01:002013-06-22T15:38:10.431+01:00I have an alphabet sampler from The French Needle:...I have an alphabet sampler from The French Needle: http://www.frenchneedle.com/collections/canevas-folies/products/abcedaire-fleuri-kit
It is beautiful and uses a variety of stitches I have yet to try, along with some I already know. I am saving it to take on holiday, so I can get to work on it with a relaxed attitude, I'm a bit intimidated by it! But to me that's the purpose of a sampler, to challenge and instruct...
