Eureka! Clover Wonder Clips are Great for Everything

Eureka!

If you do any quilting along with your stitching, you've surely seen these Clover Wonder Clips before. I started using them to help sew binding onto quilts, and perhaps that's what they were originally designed for. But over time, I've realized that they are an absolute must for every needlecrafting toolkit, no matter what craft you specialize in!

Eureka! Clover Wonder Clips are Great for Everything

Wonder Clips are the perfect little multi-purpose tool for any material that is difficult or too thick to pin. I've used it for heavy felt and wool as well as helping to manage multiple layers of fabric. I imagine they would be incredibly useful for making stuffed toys, stitching / sewing with felt (especially layers, as shown above), fuzzy fabrics, wool, vinyls and oilcloths - even paper - any of those tricksy materials that are fun to play with but can be so frustrating to handle! They're just one of those funny little needlework tools that comes in handy for things you'd never have expected!

Clover Wonder Clips are available in almost any needlecraft shop, and online everywhere - and now come in lots of pretty colors! :)

What's your favorite stitching tip? Please share in the &Stitches Flickr group. We'd love to see it!

  1. I have a package of these sitting in my kit! I haven't had a chance to use them yet but have heard nothing but good things.
