This gorgeous free pattern was shared by Digital Misfit on Flickr and is just perfect for making Christmas gifts. I think it would make a beautiful Christmas hoop or would be lovely stitched on a child's stocking surrounded by embroidered snowflakes.
I also found this beautiful whimsical fawn by flickr user 'by The Mymble's Daughter'. Although it doesn't have a Christmas theme I could imagine this little fawn living in a magical snowy landscape.
