Show us your tools and win awesome prizes!

I hope you've all been enjoying our series of posts about our embroidery tools - I've picked up tips from my two co-bloggers, and have a list of new things to add to my own kit. So if that's just from two others, imagine how much we could all learn from sharing with each other!

I hereby invite you to share your toolkit - the whole thing, one favorite tool or a tool-related tip, it's up to you. But share something tool-related with us and our readers and you'll be entered to win some pretty awesome prizes! Here's how it works:

1.) Post about your tools on your blog or on Flickr.

2.) Come back to this post and leave your link in our magic-link-up machine below. (If you're reading this in a reader, you might have to pop over to our blog to view the link-up or add your link to it.)

3.) You have until April 21, 8pm UK time to enter - don't forget, this is a competition, not a giveaway! You have to link up in order to enter. If you have any trouble with the linky tool, leave your link in a regular comment, but comments without a link will not be counted. We want to hear about your tools / kits / tips!

And grab yourself this badge for your post to show you're in the competition (just copy the code and paste it into your post):

Come back and learn cool tips from each other as more links are added! Two weeks from today, we'll pick one amazingly lucky linked-up entry to win all of these gorgeous prizes:

Goodies from Sublime Stitching

Look at these treats from the wonderful Sublime Stitching! Lovely embroidery scissors, woven labels, and the newest Sublime Stitching patterns designed by Heidi Kenney of My Paper Crane. Wowee!

Tapestry Kit From Retrosaria Zoe

But that's not all! Our winner will also receive this adorable tiny Abstract Art Needlepoint kit from Retrosaria Zoe by Zoe Gilbertson. This kit contains everything you'll need to complete a teeny tiny abstract needlepoint work of art, including the frame!

Dragonfly Lotus Handspun Thread

Wait, there's more! Liz from Dragonflylotus Designs offers a 10-skein variety pack with 5-yard handspun skeins of embroidery threads in different colors and fibers! Don't these look like so much fun to play with?! I gotta tell ya, I'm incredibly jealous that one of you will win these prizes!

The winner for this awesome pile of prizes will be selected and announced in the week after the competition has ended. Carina, Nicole and myself will read through all the entries and handpick the most interesting, unusual, or useful post to win!

This competition is now closed - thank you all so much for entering!

  1. It was fun to think about what I use and how I organize my embroidery projects. I also enjoyed visiting the others who shared their tool kits.

  3. Yikes, down to the wire! I had to work nights this weekend and didn't get my post written, and then decided to sleep instead of posting this morning. I got all the relevant bits in, though, so maybe I should make a second post for all the rest of it.

Can't wait to look at everyone's stuff - I'm so haphazard with everything, I really hope someone has some nice neat system, the ideas of which I could steal and hopefully implement in my sewing space.
