Sherlock in Stitches


I really enjoyed watching the BBC Sherlock series last year and was thrilled to see some Sherlock related embroideries pop up on Flickr.  Not nearly enough though, the world needs more Sherlock embroideries! Anyway, as you may know I have a soft spot for stitched lettering and I love this particular quote by Sherlocks friend Dr. Watson, stitched by Flickr user Feltyfathers. If I remember correctly it's from the episode where Sherlock makes his appearance at Buckingham Palace without any trousers on...  There are more Sherlock related embroideries in Feltyfathers' photostream by the way.

    I just love Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock. Did you see the latest series he's in ~ Parade's End? It was wonderful!
    These projects are wonderful!
