Tiny City

Found on Flickr

I love this detailed embroidery (with the addition of a bit of gold paint) by Andrea Farina. It's called 'Tiny City'. To me it looks like a Huge City on a Tiny Planet but maybe that's just me. :) Andrea makes illustrations too and I think some of them would look wonderful when stitched, like this one. Find more 'thread sketches' by Andrea here.

  2. Yay! Thanks for featuring my work!

It's called "Tiny City on a Gold Planet" because the embroidery itself is actually very small and is part of a series of similarly proportioned cities. I never thought about it as a huge city... haha but I love it.

    Thanks again :)

    1. You're welcome! And thanks for explaining the 'tiny' bit in 'tiny city', I thought I was missing something here but it was actually pretty obvious. :)
