I absolutely love this tiny, detailed piece by Sophie. It's a life-size portrait of a Bee Hummingbird. These amazing birds measure only about 2 inches! Sophie stitched this for the Tiny Things Swap over at the Phat Quarter group on Flickr. Regularly swaps (with different themes) are hosted there. I joined a few of the previous swaps and it's always good fun!
This is so delicate and beautiful. Sophie is an amazing stitcher. I love seeing what artists come up with in the swaps! And I love when someone of her talent participates. I own a gorgeous piece by Sophie and I feel honored.
