Scandinavia &Stitches is already our 4th issue and what a fabulous issue it is! Jam packed with interviews, patterns and inspiration. Scandinavia certainly is a theme that is near to our hearts. Carina is originally from Denmark (now living in the UK) and Nicole spent three years happily living on a Norwegian Fjord a couple of years back.
Our featured designer this time is Emily Wilmarth of The Flossbox. She contributed a fantastic cross stitch pattern called Sailing by the Stars (see cover photo). Nicole has made some small Scandinavian inspired patterns perfect to adorn your (handmade) gifts and Carina found inspiration in traditional Danish motifs for her Porcelænsblomster pattern.
And how about some Scandinavian Felt Snowflakes for your wall? Anne Mende explains how to make these.
Lots of inspiring interviews in this issue as well: we talk to Emily Wilmarth, Clare Youngs, Karin Holmberg and Kajsa Wikman. You will also find out more about Norwegian Hardanger embroidery and Swedish Yllebroderi. The Stitch challenge, all about the Raised Herringbone Stitch this time, has produced some incredibly inspired pieces by Neil, Alexia and Lauren.
This is an issue not to be missed and if you are quick you can get it with a neat discount too! Buy your copy here and if you enter the code LILLEHAVFRUE on checkout you'll get 10% of the regular price. This offer ends in 2 days time.
We hope you will enjoy this issue and would love to know what you think!
