Meet our new blogger: Julie

Embroidered quote by Julie

We are super excited to let you know that the &Stitches blog team has gained a new member. Julie is joining the &Stitches Blog! Julie did some excellent summer bloggin' posts here on the blog (Fab ombre stitch samplers tutorials!) She will post on Thursdays and her posts will be a mix of anything stitchy that strikes her fancy. And from time to time she'll write meatier posts about a particular topic. We can't wait to see what Julie comes up with!

A bit about Julie:
Julie is originally from Pittsburgh but now living in the UK. On her own blog Button, button Julie writes about her crafty adventures and inspiration. Besides embroidery, Julie likes to knit and we even spotted a bit of lace-making on her blog and Instagram! With her mum, she regularly releases embroidery patterns under the name Little Dorrit &Co. Their adorable patterns are inspired by literature, for example Pippi Longstocking, Shakespeare and Dickens.

Pride & Prejudice quote pattern find it in Julie's Etsy shop Little Dorrit & Co

Other places to find Julie: Flickr, Twitter, Pinterest and Ravelry (check out Julie's knitting patterns!)

Please make Julie feel very welcome - we're so happy to have her as part of the team! :-)
