Giveaway time! Embroidered Art by Lucky Jackson!

As you probably know the second issue of &Stitches e-zine is available next week and it's all about books this time. To mark the happy occasion we have a fabulous giveaway for you! Lucky Jackson, stitcher extra-ordinaire, is generously offering one of her original embroidered pieces of art to give away on this blog.  Lucky is still busy with her 365 days project (stitch a work of art a day). Some of her art is available in her shop and for some pieces there is even a pattern available so you can make your own version! As you can tell from the photo, this piece (from the Take this job and shove it week) fits our book theme perfectly.

For a chance to win this lovely piece, leave a comment on this post and tell us why you would like to win this Lucky Jackson Original.... The giveaway ends this Saturday 8 PM Amsterdam time! And be sure to leave an e-mail address or to check back to see if you have won because we don't want to do a re-draw (but we will, after 5 days!).... Comments are closed!!

Good luck everyone!

  1. I've been a bookworm ever since I can remember, so I'd looooove to win this beauty. It'd look fab above my work desk (which is often creaking under the weight of research books)! Thanks for the chance.

  13. Lucky Jackson is fantastic! I have been following her work for some time now. The themes she has are so creative. My most favorite theme was Film Frock Week. She created this beautiful piece of Marie Antoinette back in January. Ever since then, I've been hooked on her work. Please pick me! Thanks for the this fantastic opportunity!

  14. I don't enter many giveaways, but this one is too good to resist. I so admire Lucky Jackson's skill and talent - especially how she can replicate the intricacies of human facial expressions with just a few simple stitches. Her work is stunning and her 365 Days project is inspired. I also love books so winning this piece would be a real honor.

  15. I love the pieces Lucky Jackson creates, and I'm amazed that she's able to make a piece a day! As a librarian and a book nerd, I think this sexy librarian would be a perfect addition to my office wall! All of the librarians in my building would be so envious of my stitchy artwork :)
